Foreign languages for management graduate. Founder of The Natural Step’s Italian Branch. In Nativa, she helps organizations to implement innovation paths based on the B Corp Model; in 2015 she cooperated with the Italian Senate to pass a bill defining the juridical subject of “Società Benefit”. The Nativa team designs innovation paths, builds new businesses and supports other organization’s leadership bodies to evolve towards prosperous economic activities which can regenerate people and the biosphere.

Specialized in overall business impact measurement. Years of experience with agrifood certifications around quality and product management systems. In Nativa, he follows the information and promotion activities around the B Corp model, while supporting organizations in their path towards impact improvement and certification.
What is it about?
Corporate activity is the most important component on which not only wealth and well-being production depend, but also social and environmental balances. The Società Benefit and B Corp framework represents a concrete, positive and scalable solution, building value for the whole society.
“Società Benefit” is a new corporate legal form, available in Italy since January 1st, 2016, that guarantees a solid base to align a company’s mission and build shared, long-term prosperity. B Corp is a rapidly growing community of companies aiming to generate positive impact on people, environment and all their stakeholders.
Why attending this workshop:

☛ to acquire specific competencies and useful tools to respect the demands from the law for Società Benefit: how they act, their responsibility and reporting duties;

What will we work on?
The workshop’s format, tested by Nativa all across Italy, was adapted to the Apulian entrepreneurial environment, so to be accessible also by the numerous start-ups and youth enterprises present in the region.
How does it work?
La Scuola Open Source proposes an exclusive one-day full-immersion with the Nativa team, the organization that brought the Benefit Corporation format to Italy and worked hard for the legal recognition of Società Benefit.
Together with them, for the first time in Puglia, we will understand why Società Benefit and B Corp represent a valuable opportunity for the organizations of our region, whatever size they are, existing or to be incorporated. A unique, dedicated and collaborative day of study, support and networking, at the end of which, each and every participant will know how to transform her organization into a B Corp.
